Unfortunately there is no drifting car in your price range not unless you are trying to drift with a 911, or ViperSRT.

For an amateur driver just stick with the Evo, G35 copue, Subaru WRX. Those are about $35K and the WRX is cheaper.

If you feel like breaking the bank, get the M3 for about $55k

The honda s2000 or NSx are good enough drift cars. Also the 2010 Jaguar XFR is a fantanstic drifter, though expensive.
All that said, get the 2010 Audi R8 with manual transmission, then your drifting days will be remembered.


NOTE: When selecting any of these cars make sure its a Rear Wheel drive(rwd), a car will not drift except its RWD cuz it needs that to balance and make the drift effect.
