I believe so many on this forum must of have read the book called the 'Animal Farm'by George Owen,but i doubt if majority of the readers understand its social-political as well as economic implications.
Now,for the benefit of those that lack basic comprehension skills,the story on the Animal Farm,can be liken to what is happening in the present day Nigeria about the complaint of maginalisation and the threat of cessation by a group of people.
This event,at least, to the best of the the author's ability was non-ficticious political and economic happenings in the old USSR,where by the Russians just like the Ig..s were the majority ethnic group spear heading the self-determination at that time and which was eventually became successful.
However,not too long after the death of their leader just in our own scenario,the war lord,the people(the animals),became independent from their previous master,and the drafting of the constitution that contains equallity of all animals irrespective of their sizes,there was in-

You are very right! The animal farm reflects a whole lot not just about Biafra but the situation Nigeria finds herself at the moment

fighting between two of the most senior leaders,Trosky and Stalin,but as use here were the Pigs(there will always be pigs some where),for the leadership of the new government,but unfortunately Stalin chased away Trosky into exile.
Fast forward,the russians(the pigs) having realised that all political powers now belong them alone,they started ruling the rest of the federation with iron fist by first changing the constitution,and there after monopolising the RESOURCES OF THE MINORITY ETHNIC GROUPS,because at that time all state machinery of coersion were with them.
So,the essense of this is that we should learn from our past,this is because before the British granted us independence,life was much better than what it is today.

But it boils down to the truth; men were created equal but some are more equal than others.

Animal Farm is also a perfect representation of Nigeria

But when they got into power they did absolutely nothing to change it, and completely altered history making the Freedom fighters the enemies
