A retired civil servant has dragged his wife of over to court over heavy debt. The man is begging the court in customary court in Ibadan to put an end to his 18-years of marriage because he has being paying the debt of the wife since they got married and now he has retired the wife still keep incurring more debt.

According to the man, he doesn't know what the wife does with the money she normally borrows as he always provides the needs of his family.

Although some say this may be a spiritual thing others say its lack of management spirit from the wife that has led her to this everyday borrowing and depending on the husband to help her pay back.
