The #women International Women’s Day (March is a global day for celebrating the achievement of women in the social, economic, cultural and political space globally. The theme for #IWD2020 is I am Generation Equality: Realizing Women’s Rights. The campaign for this year’s theme is #EachforEqual Genter equality is not a woman issue. It’s a universal issue. It is what we need in order to achieve our collective sustainable development goals #SDGs for a more progressive world.

What this means in the OSH profession is an opportunity to create some kind of balance for the female OSH professionals, in order to achieve more gender parity. “An equal world is an enabled world” To add to this, An equal world is a safer, more secured, more stable and more progressive word!

That’s why we have created the platform for Women to support Women Safety Professionals- the Association of Nigerian Women Safety professionals for growth and development, support, mentorship, coaching, training and networking opportunities for the women OSH professionals to accelerate the #EachforEqual campaign.
