SOMEONE SAID GOODBYE Someone said goodbye I heard it in shock I wondered who But could not decipher I heard goodbye, but from who! “Goodbye to the world unholy, Goodbye to the pain-filled moment" The voice whispered again I heard goodbye From the left, or the other end I heard goodbye From a voice so hasty Who? Why? Someone uttered these words “Goodbye to life" “Goodbye to love" “Goodbye to hate" I heard them, again Again and again And faintly, it disappeared Into the moist of the earth 1 Like |
