In the speech she made during the chibok anniversary, Shadiya Sanusi, daughter of recently dethroned Emir of Kano stated that despite wanting to spend the rest of his life on the throne just as his forefathers did, he knows it was unlikely going to be so because if he is left to choose between his conscience on speaking the truth and the throne, he would choose his conscience.
