I posted something the day the news broke. In that post, I said that I knew he was going to be sent on exile. It was the way he was swiftly sent into exile that somewhat surprised me and not the mere fact that he was actually sent into exile.

For every deposed monarch, that is the rule. That is why I laugh at all those human rights activists saying that his rights to 'reside in Kano should be respected'. They don't know jerk.

My father explained it to me as a kid long time ago.

Now, here is the logic: Deposed or not, can there be two kings in a Kingdom??

Only the discerning can fully understand this. Once a king is deposed, he has no business whatsoever remaining in that same Kingdom over which he once presided. No sentiments about that. He must be coerced into exile at all costs. It is an age-old tradition.

OP is actually spot on on this. Only those versed in the monarchical system can fully understand this.

Nigerian constitution is above every tradition
And the Nigerian constitution guarantees him freedom of movement

I completely disagree with you. It's unconstitutional and any law contrary to the Constitution in null and void to the extent of the conflict. You can't just wake up and Banish someone out of his domain.
The Constitution guarantee every citizens of this country freedom of movement and no law can take that away.

In North, Sanusi is a superbly educated and foremost scholar.

In South, he is a nobody academically or professionally.

He got the First Bank job and subsequently CBN by his bloodline, not because he is an intellectual.

He is not qualified to lead a bank Nigeria....much more a world bank. What are you guys smoking?

Unlike the typical Northerner Sanusi's spoken English is polished, beside that what else does he have to put him in world bank?

I disagree with your opinion on Sanusi. Yes his bloodline gave him some leveraging. SLS is intelligent enough to make headway anywhere, any position in the world.
There are few people living today that poses what Sanusi have.
No.1. He is bold and fearless.
2. He is economically intelligent
3. He hits the nails on the head no matter what happens
4. He is not power drunk.
5. He believes in the natural causes.
Many people in his shoe would have bow to Ganduje just to keep the crown.
But here is a man who rather than dance to the music of remaining a puppet chose to be dethroned.
All what Sanusi is saying about letting the old testament of Islam be renewed to match the reality of today's life will come to fruition very soon.
I blame Buhari for all these nonsense happening in the country.

In position of leadership one of the desirable competencies is "conflict resolution". The ability to identify and proactively step in and prevent a bad situation from becoming worse.

Moreso when you are a people leader, you must consistently demonstrate capacity to overcome challenges and keep contentious relationships open and approachable.

Sanusi has style and charm....and he has demonstrated that. His mannerisms in speech is a demonstration of charm and style, and nothing to do with intellect.

In First Bank he had issues with the board of directors. In CBN he had issues with President. In monarchy he had issues with Governor. In each of these instances he was punished. There were signs ahead that he was running into obstacles....yet he pressed on. You call that a desirable characteristic?

Jonathan's administration was one of the easiest to survive in. Sanusi did not survive it.

Ganduje is heavily corrupt, and Sanusi still is not able to manage a corrupt Ganduje.

Sanusi has conflict with Presidency. He has conflict with his own Emirate council.

You are enamored by his style and charm.....Sanusi has lived a priviledged life and he knows nothing else. He is used to people getting out of his way....when he encounters someone that refuses to yield he does not knoww what to do to displace them. Na that kind person you want to head World Bank?

Well you did not restrict yourself to
"Deposed or deposed and exiled or even to Nigeria" did you? You wrote as if Moses came down from Mount Sinai with explicit rules about this?

Well if I am to be banished anywhere it can never be Arochukwu, God forbid. There is a Wikipedia article on Monarchs who abdicated e.g. Edward VIII.
My point is avoid making sweeping unfounded generalisations
Avoid fufu,if you can't do not overdose grin

It is stupid to interject oneself into a conversation without understanding the context or comprehending what is being said.

I have very little patience for dullards.
Go back read and comprehend exactly the point that is being made, though I doubt you have the capacity for that.

You talk about academia.
Is this academia
Did I reference or cite Wikipedia ?
You talk about project supervisions
What an idiotic remark
Do you know who I supervise?
This is a faceless forum
You interject your ignorant self rudely telling me what to desist from
Who the hell are you?
