For how long would a crop of greedy,self-centered,bittered,hateful,unforgiving and malicious old men lord theirselves on the generalty of we the Yorubas? It is a known fact that we the Yorubas were at the forth front in the clamouring for Democracy!So,why are we now indulging in anti-democracy practices by encouraging Geroncracy in our political life.I believe its high time that the youth of Yoruba land put a stop to this deception by these 'spent force'who pretend to fight our cause but are interested in lining their pockets only and who have refused to submit theirselves to one out many of the tenent of Democracy,which is testing ones popularity and acceptance through the means of ELECTION. If groups that are not as enlightened as we are can conduct elections into different positions as at when due,i dont know what is stopping us! |

afenifere is such a closed union of few old men who claim to be deciples of awolowo . They are so intolerant to ideas and views of even other Yoruba's who don't hold awolowos views. They are particularly anti- muslim /anti-islam. |
