In a bid to improve security on campus for improved student’s welfare and to monitor class attendance, The Niger Delta University is in a bid to include student’s fingerprints before students can access classes. This was revealed by the Vice Chancellor in his matriculation speech held March 7th in Newsite. The Vice Chancellor noted that the school is being sanitized and students have to reveal their identity before they can pass the main gate, hence, the need to always go around with their school ID cards.
