Ponnle’s son, who spoke in a video footage shown to the audience, said he would remain grateful to his parents, who gave him sound education, care and love.

Ponnle said the kidney transplant was performed at the University Teaching Hospital, Cardiff, UK, adding that there was no big deal in his gesture to save his son’s life.

He suppose not donate naa, he shoulda just sat back, relax and watch the product of his loins bloat up and die. There's nothing so heroic about donating an organ to a close family member if you have a clean bill of health. Doing it for a total stranger or someone you're not related to, now thats something.
