Greetings .For those that remember history the benin empire was a large and proud empire with culture until 1897 it was destroyed for selfish reasons and the proud city of benin was looted and people massacred.
Artifacts dating back centuries was looted and in some cases not even reported to the british empire and kept as personal loot by people such as henry galway.Now his family is set to insult and profit again from the genocide and looting of the artifacts of the benin people.

The permission of such an auction is an outright statement that over 110 years later africans are looked upon as 3rd class citizen as this would never happen to a stolen jewish artifact or gold.
