4 Common Bitcoin Scams To Avoid In 2020. by Ruth12: 10:26am On Mar 16, 2020 |
Is Bitcoin a Scam? Bitcoin is not but you should be careful with bitcoin transactions. Just like you cannot say Naira or US Dollar is a scam because it was used in a transaction to scam you, so also you cannot say Bitcoin is a scam. Here are the 4 common bitcoin scam tricks you need to spot and avoid: 1. Bitcoin Doublers: These are the one that will tell you "Buy $100 and get $1000 in 2days". Nothing like this exists in the cryptocurrency market. 2. Deposit Bonus: These ones will tell you to deposit a certain amount of Bitcoin to receive a reward. A lot of people fall for this scam because it always looks so real. 3. Giveaways: They will ask you to drop your bitcoin wallet to receive the giveaway. On social media especially on Twitter, some Imposter twitter account will comment "hurray! I have received my reward, click here to get the same". Do not fall for this. 4. Casinos: They ask you to play to win. This scheme makes you think you just won a big amount on the casino and to make a withdrawal, they ask for a deposit. Do not click on just any site because of a giveaway. Do not drop your wallet address on every comment for fake bitcoin. Stay safe! Author: Ojelabi Dolapo R. from Naijacrypto 2 Likes 1 Share |

Samfloxin: You need to ask him the following questions 1. What website did he open account on for you 2. Ask him what he is planning to do with your money 3. Ask him what he means by "Bitcoin business" 4. Tell him to teach you how to trade rather than help you trade. You need to know that there is nothing like "Starting Bitcoin business. In my experience, this is 90% scam. 2 Likes 1 Share |

rolly44: You do not need an agent to trade any cryptocurrency. the first thing you need to do is learn about cryptocurrency and trading them. You cannot know everything at ones, there are a lot of articles and videos on youtube that can help you. There are also a lot of conferences being organised in Nigeria every month to educate people. As a beginner, I would advise you to start by using a Nigeria exchange that will be easy to understand then from there, you can progress. Naijacrypto Exchange is good for beginners like you because they do not charge any fee for trading, you can check them out. 1 Like |
