Craving is natural for pregnant women, a doctor once told me to eat whatever I crave for because it's what the baby feel like eating I normally crave for fresh pepper sauce made with palm oil without tomatoes And shawa fish which I don't normally eats when not pregnant. But I believe some women with excess craving are foodie type but pregnancy aggravates it.

I used to have a neighbor that lives in the next compound, she perceives foods across the fence. There was a day she trailed aroma of jollof rice to my compound and found my husband cooking it she said oga please I must eat this rice ooo ;Dna so my husband dish for her she stood in the middle of the compound ate it, dropped plate and went back to her compound. But she's naturally the type that buys and eats whatever passes B4 pregnancy.

Lol, my wife loves good perfumes, but right now, I dare not use any scent. Not even room freshener or car freshener or else, she'll throw up terribly.

Same experience for me. Fragrant body lotions and powder inclusive. The thing tire me. Going out scares me, Cuz I know what fragrance will do to me.

Maybe you haven't experienced these things. So all women fake these cravings. When you understand how hormones go haywire in a pregnant woman's body, you will understand. I hated the smell of my husband's perfume so much that I never wanted to see his shirts around. The smell was so horrible yet I use this same perfume.
I vomitted every day for the first 3months at exactly 9am..9am on the dot...can you imagine that. I eat and eat yet vomit everything the following morning and we won't be able to sleep cos I had eaten too much yet very hungry. At work, our office canteen knows she must have a blocked bottled water. I was eating block and ple would ask me how it doesn't shock my teeth. Driving all the way to white house yaba to go buy moinmoin that I would vomit at 9am or thereabouts. Hummmm. Not our fault. I missed those days badly now.
Those set of people you mentioned; it happens to them also and they send ple around them if they are nice enough like husbands. No be joke abeg.

Most cravings in pregnancy is a way your body tells you that you need certain minerals and nutrients.
The lady that said she ate a lot of beef while pregnant when she normally used to eat fish had that craving possibly because of some iron deficiency.
Allow women listen to their bodies when pregnant please, and stop with the whining.
We all want a healthy baby and if its hot suya that can do the job, pls allow her eat it.
Unhealthy cravings like sand, potash, wall paint are also all signs of some nutritional deficiency

I felt like eating sand each time water poured on hot sand( it took a lot of self control not to eat it o brethren)
I couldn't eat meat but I chop fresh fish Taya with unripe plantain
Had this crazy crave for freshly cut corn. Hubby had to go extra miles to look for it daily. And many more
I couldn't stand the smell of perfume, soaps, cream, etc.
