I wish the sun had procrastinated
But the morning left painfully
While I was still a kid

A younger me with a hand
Not big enough to grab a rope nor key
And lost upon a land
That thirst of sand.

I was plagued by Youth
And weighed against my root

My father, a young flower
With grey hair
Bound to memories of me
And lost to the monster
I had become
