I am really disappointed that instead of focusing on perfecting their logistic issues, Jamb are more interested in generating revenue for Government. Someone registered to write in Rivers and is meant to write in Kogi where he may have no relative.

Apart from the distance he or she has to travel, there nay be need for Hotel bills.

I really don't understand why they post people to places far away from home to write the exam, it doesn't make any sense.

I understand. People can chose any state of their choice. But I am worried about people who are forced to travel against their choice.

Don't mind that Islamic extremist called oloyede. The guy was more of a terrorist during his stint as VC in unilorin. I was running my MSc then. He has continued from where he left off. First he introduced NIN for those kids to have before they can register. He wasn't successful with that then he introduced posting of students to long and far distance even interstate just to write jamb. I don't know what these people gain in making life miserable for others. Even in a university setting, na all those Muslim Alfa and teblik lecturers dey wicked pass. They just derive joy in seeing people struggle and suffer.

When I see the distances kids have to go and the time to take their exams I can’t but imagine how irresponsible jamb has become despite the new and upgraded system. It wud have been better they spread the duration of the exams to 2weeks or more so that kids get closer venues.

One keeps wondering why students have to leave their base to other states. May her soul find rest.

As results are coming in and many families are rejoicing over the successes recorded by the those who want entrances into the various institutions of Higher learning, same cant be said of the family of Mr. Aker in Katsina-Ala, Benue state as a fatal motor accident claims the life of their daughter, Aker Nguyilan, who has to travel long distance to write her Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board exams.

Indeed, as our children are left with no choice but to travel longer distances just to write the exams, calamity has yet again visited this one in particular. May God console their family over the loss of their daughter.
