I ordered some teas with some funny tasteless milk and sugar in think sachets, its kinda great for portion control, I notice that you take lesser sugar if you use this. The the first tea I took, I just took a sachet of milk and sugar, was doing gentleman. It was as if I didn't put anything. Had to call the flight attendant for more. As I was sleeping my tea, I looked out and saw what looked like a burning forest, I was thrilled and amazed. Then the later it became clearer, it was actually a small city The next shot shows a much bigger city. I could have used my map to check the country but my Airtel couldnt roam properly. The flight wifi couldnt connect for some strange reasons. 5 Likes 1 Share

DOHA, this will be better if seen in reality. If you see the map of lagos, it looked worse than the burning forest. It was worse mehn. It was almost totally dark. With very few dots of lights and a thin line of light which will be our high way, Laaaannndddiiiiinnnnnngggg to get an intense Shock. 14 Likes 2 Shares

I'm lucky I had these shots, the airport was so beautiful I forgot I had my phone, plus I had to Look for my next gate and when my connecting flight will be ready to board. I was so busy feeding my eyes, the place was so high, let's say the roof was about 7stories high and for the huge space, its was garnished with all sorts of lights and decorations. Lots of central attractions to give satisfaction to anyone with a connecting flight. Nigeria has lots of history, rich culture, people that have mastered our local arts and crafts. There was no single art in our airport. It was like a Shopping mall. Look at what I'm talking about, I had to wait when people moved away before I could take a shot. 11 Likes 2 Shares

The airport is so huge there's actually a Tram here, in Dublin they call theirs the Luas. A tram is a light electric capsule on rail lines It was wonderful seeing this in one building. It's purely operated by an AI It felt so smooth with zero emission. There was no need walking to gate at the other end of the airport, with my stuffed hand luggage. The issue with traffic in lagos, is terrible considering the fact that we have Bus, train and water ways. The canal is a huge plus to getting around. If you're scared to die if the boat capsizes. There's a city called Venice, this is a city that was built in the marsh to protect it from invaders. The mode of transportation here is by boat and canoes. Buildings are built on foundations that is standing on logs planted deep in the mud where air cant get to it, so its safe from decay. We should embrace the opportunity it offers us. 14 Likes 2 Shares

That bead design is stunning I was curious I had to go under it and snap it. Look at the design of the building from where I'm standing It looks like a Hole was dug. 8 Likes 2 Shares

At this point, I decided to wait for my next flight, I totally forgot to snap the array of seats here. A popular church service can hold here this is planning. There enough for me to claim a bench and sleep comfortable. I knew that the moment I sleep, I might wake up after my flight has gone. I wasn't even feeling sleepy due to the excitement. It's good to travel o. 12 Likes 2 Shares

I heard my gate number and got up like a soldier, onto my next Main adventure. They checked my credentials and a bus was waiting for us. I must say that the BRT in Lagos apart from the new one has been school children project design. Very old, rugged and very functional. This bus stopped and lowered itself so we could walk in..not climb in. Theres a difference between walking in and climbing in. It felt great. It stopped at our flight and lowered itself as close to the ground as possible, I picked up my hand bag and walked in like a boss to Smiling Flight attendants and a beautiful Qatari Boarding music by Dana al Fardan. The experience was relaxing. Guess where I sat. 13 Likes 2 Shares

This time I sat at the wing on my flight from Doha to Dublin The window is very interesting. It has an electric curtain. Instead of physical curtain, you press a button and it darkens with various shades. The pilot can also control all the windows centrally to lighten or darken the cabin during take off and landing. We were about to take off and I picked a song. The plane just turned and headed straight to the run way and up in the hair, the Gforce wasn't as the one in Lagos, I could feel we were leaving the ground, the backlash was mild. I just relaxed and breath a gracious sign of relief. My neighbors this time were a white couple. For their age, I have never seen romance in people of their age. I started regretting why I didn't pair up with a girl...... 14 Likes 2 Shares

The food came and I cleared it as quickly as it came There was something about the couple next to me, everytime the flight attendant served something, they'll peck each other on the lip. I kinda blushed o. They brought drinks, and I heard them peck. At a point , when they brought any refreshment, I'll chill till they peck before I dive in. It was kinda hilarious. 29 Likes 2 Shares

First picture is the bus stand, anywhere you see it, you can command the bus to stop. These bus stand has a unique stop number. In busy places where multiple bus from different location has to stop, there'll be multiple bus stands. You'll have to ask around or check ya map. First time in Dublin weather, the cold chilled me to the bone, I wanted to Run inside the Airport as quickly as I could, my luggages were slowing me down, l ran inside with my hand luggage and brought out my winter coat and gloves from my hand luggage. The google map is the best way to navigate here, if your phone dies, you're lost. I booked an Airlink to the city center, I did the booking in lagos, 3k I think and it dropped me in front of my Hostel. Theres a difference between Hostel and Hotel. Since I'm a student, I went for Hostel. 21 Likes 2 Shares

Well I booked Abigail's hostel from Bookings.com when I was in Lagos, the bus dropped me almost in front, so I simply dragged my two heavy bags to the reception. Abigail's is directly opposite the quay, the street is called Aston Quay. A quay is like a road that's along a river, it's really interesting. A huge, deep river is in the middle of a city. Sadly tho, I have seen the quay so much that I totally forgot to snap the ones at the city centre. The ones you see below are the little ones that runs into the quay. My intention was to capture The white mean Magestic bird called The Mute swan. From the name, it doesn't speak or scream but it uses its beaks effectively. This is was taken where I board the Tram at Drimnagh, I do not live there again. I love seeing the Mute swan when I rush off to class in the morning. And Gosh you need to see this bird fly. So after I dropped off my bags in my hostel, it was stress less because the hostel had a lift which I took to the second floor. Imagine if I have to drag my checkin bags through the stairs. This was different from the hostel my friend booked at, no lift, he was lucky I was there to help him with his luggages. My tummy rumbles and quakes, it was 5pm and I have not eaten, so I walked to the nearest supermarket and say this serve your self food in glass table design. I picked what I liked and could recognized and they put it on the scale and charged me €6. I went home, cleared the food. I looked at my phone, it was 6pm, i looked at the window, everywhere was dark, I thought it was 10pm thinking it was time zone difference. I spread the clean white heavy blanket and Blackout. 8 Likes 2 Shares

I woke up and checked the time, it was 8pm!!!!!!! Holy crap, I just slept for more than 12hrs, a feat I have never achieved before in Nigeria with the countless night vigils for spiritual and academic purposes, I have never slept that way since i was a baby. Every bunk bed comes equipped with two USB, reading light, two sockets and you collect your sheets, blankets and pillow from the reception. I struggled to achieve very restful sleep in Nigeria even though I applied some strict rule like no meal before after 7pm this also meant taking my breakfast as early as possible, sometimes by 7am, living a smoke free life, drinking as less alchohol as possible, walking as much as I can, because when I'm physically tired, I sleep better. But here i achieved that effortlessly and i almost panicked. But the serve your self breakfast that was set before me took my mind away from it almost immediately. The man at the Desk told me they were almost for us to move in and eat. 6 Likes

My flight moved here on Wednesday afternoon, this was my second day here and it was time to look for an accomodation. By this time, my white roomies had vanished from the apartment after breakfast. Looking for an accomodation in Nigeria was fruitless. Those guys wont hold the house for a long time, once they see an international number, they'll ignore you. If you want to the apartment, you to see it first then pay. People have scammed because of it, not by the locals only but also by the foreigners who poses as the landlord. So I went to gumtree, donedeal, and daft to begin my search. What we pay here in a month, is more than my rent depending on the location. In kebbi where I served, I paid 30,000 for a year, I later got to know I paid so much. Some got something like my accomodation for 25k. The same place in lagos will be around 150k, that's what I pay here in a month. But the means to pay it with ease is by having a job that pays in euros. Now we see the reason why the embassy only give Visa to people that can pass this hurdle with all the legal means possible. If they allow every dick and harry to come here, some student might do All to survive like robbery, prostitution and scam, just to avoid being thrown out into the cold. If I should work 20hrs a week as a student which is just two days a week with more than 2hours of break, it's more than 300k a month, tell me how many people get that in Nigeria. This is the way out. It wont be realistic paying my rent with a Naira source of income. 18 Likes 2 Shares

I got into dublin on Wednesday, I was able to secure an appointment after I got an European number to view the house. This apartment was a bunk bed, I just needed to settle as soon as possible so I can stop buying food and start cooking asap. The viewing was the next day which wasThursday, I liked the house cos it had the amenities I needed and I moved in on Friday. I simply ordered a taxi through an app called Freenow, it arrived just the way you call an uber. After using it the first time, the next time I wanted to use it, I simply booked the time it will come pick me from my apartment to the interview i was going to. I couldn't use the bus because it was raining heavily. The ride came 15min earlier and waited till it's time for me to go, I think it was a Toyota. Life here is really fun when you travel. When the interview was over, the next one was an Honda crosscourt, that one that looks like a Venza, it was great tho. 10 Likes 4 Shares
