A carpenter and a fisherman were very good friends. The fisherman usually present the carpenter with some fresh fish any day he went for fishing but the carpenter did not know how to reciprocate the gesture. One day the fisherman's son died and the carpenter seized that opportunity and presented the fisherman with a beautifully made coffin. Fisherman: my friend thanks a lot for your expensive present. Carpenter: Don't mention it, you deserve more than that! It's only the fault of your children who don't usually die, otherwise coffin would never be a problem! |
