Chapter 13 of The Book of Revelation reads: "Let the one with understanding reckon the meaning of the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is 666."

Twice in january alone, once in february and august 2018, I have stumbled on this number on nairaland.

Does this mean end times?
Does it mean triumph of the devil/mark of the beast?
Does this validate the book of revelation?
Is the world economy really coming to an end?
Have the symbolic trumpets in the book of revelation been blown?
Is it time for the end-time apocalypse?
Is this the end of humanity and all it is associated with?

Or is this just some random occurence and has no significant or symbolic meaning spiritually, mentally, socially and economically.

What is your opinion because I find this scary a bit.
