you are very lucky because from the look of it's belly it's a venomous snake.

Bro, I have better things to do with my time/life than make up stories. After killing the snake, I took it outside, and I went straight to clean my house. I came back about an hour later to find ants all over it. That's when I took the pictures.
you owe him no explanation, either he believes it or not.

I believe you now. I saw the male on my neighbor's wall last year...green and small. I thought it was a harmless snake.
It's not harmless, matter of fact they're always looking adorable and having puppy eyes sort of, but one thing is they're not harmless.. Since you said you saw the male one on your neighbour's wall, you guys should be careful over there, though Naturally Boomslangs would slither away and hide immediately they see a human, it makes them hard to catch and locate.
You guys should just be careful over there.
It can only be fatal within 2-5 days if not treated, but then you can't take that risk because anti venoms are rare in this country.

Na...not at all. If it was that long, I don't think I would have had the guts to stamp on it like that. It's actually very very small...like a long earthworm.
Cool.....you need to be careful then. Seem like you have sighted same specie around your hood. Where is your area?

I no get time to dey argue with you since what you see in the OPs last picture is a circular head to you... You should educate yourself more before trying to school others online and maybe you should search more bout Boomslangs than describing snakes by their heads.
Any Blind mind would see clearly by the head and mouth that can be opened up between 170-180 degrees that its a Boomslang but carry on with your rat snake rant

Bro stop arguing with those lads.

Obviously, the OP was just lucky. One bite from that beast would have sent the OP to yonder.

That is an adult Female Boomslang, given the shape of the head and length of its mouth.

OP, if you like try this same shit with a Black Mamba. You'll not live to tell the story grin

A Black Mamba is capable of delivering multiple bites and injecting a large quantity of Venom in just one strike.

Who knows the name of this snake? I killed it in my house this morning. It is very small...like the size of a long earthworm...I would say just about 10 inches long.

I stay in a 4 bedroom bungalow, and I left the living room empty, as I only use two out of the rooms in the house (I stay alone). So, this morning, I went out to buy something and as I walked in through the kitchen door and into the living room, I saw the thing staying still in the living room. (From the way it was positioned, I could tell it came in from the guest toilet). At first I thought it was dead, cos I keep a bottle with Sniper by the guest toilet. I thought maybe the thing affected it or so, and it died. I stood still myself and watched it. Next thing, I saw the head move slightly. I didn't want to leave its sight, so I grabbed a broom nearby and threw it at it. It hit it and it started struggling to move on the tiled floor and get towards the toilet...but it couldn't move well on the tile. I ran towards it and stamped it out a few times with my leg. It kept moving around. I picked up the broom and hit it on the head a couple of times till it stopped moving.

I won't lie, even though the snake was tiny I was a bit scared. After killing it, I cleaned my whole house within minutes. Lol. Thank God I don't have much in the house, so there is really no hiding place. After clearing every corner, I poured sniper in every corner and went out. I just came back, hoping to meet a dead snake or something, but I guess that snake was the only one that came in.

Never ever in your life try to kiil a snake with your leg, you were lucky this time, you may not be on the next! One drop of venon from a mere scratch with the fangs, would kill you!

I think it's a bush snake, not poisonous. Not sure though

Most snakes reside in bushes anyway. If you don't know its actual name, maybe give it your surname instead of saying bush snake like a bush man

Within an hour? I thought someone said its venom kills within 2-4 days?
Boomslang has deadly venom that can shut down internal organ within an hour, if anti-venom is not given on time.
