As the country struggles to contain the rampaging incursion of the covid-19 virus that has infected dozens of people in the country, state governments have begun to be proactive in order to protect their people and prevent an impending health crisis.

The Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has taken a rather urgent and bold step by banning all forms of travel to and from Rivers State wether by air, land or sea. What is the Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel doing to avoid a catastrophe waiting to happen?

Akwa Ibom State will be badly affected should this disease spiral out of control in the state knowing fully well that the health facilities in the state are inadequate.

When governments are planning huge budgets for healthcare and hospitals, he's busy sourcing huge donations to build a massive place of worship. I think all law abiding citizens of the state should prevail on the governor to take proactive steps to avoid the calamity that has already befallen this nation from finding it's way into the state.
