The special adviser on media and publicity to President Muhammadu, Femi Adesina said on Thursday the reason President Buhari is not making regular briefing on the coronavirus COVID-19 is a matter of style.

Femi who is also a journalist revealed on Channels TV that his master is not like every other leader in the world.

"Every president has his style. Buhari's style is to give you an assignment and allow you to carry it out without interference," Femi Adesina said.

"If it becomes imperative for the President to speak, he will speak," he added.

A leader that does not interact with his followers, especially in a democracy where the ability to convince the majority of the electorates determines who carrys the day, such a leader will always create room for suspicion and rumor-mongering. Not only in this case, PMB has created that culture of never addressing the nation on pressing issues until everything goes out of hand. His media team can't deceive the people no matter the amount of excuses they give on his behalf.

I watched the interview on Channels TV. Someone should tell PMB the plain truth.

This so called style is all shades of wrong.

That style is not one of the gualities of a leader..rather,the quality of a visionless man, with no atom of respect and regard for his followers.

You mean the leader you've ridiculed at every turn?

The one that cannot make a statement without it being twisted out of context, taken in evil snippets for reasons of propaganda and mocked for his accent?

Rumours, slander, malicious innuendos, outright lies to damage the well being of the nation has become the hallmark of those who aren't really interested in his statements but wish to make political capital.

Nigerians aren't ready for a wholesome democracy or even a date with civilization.

He’s right though. It is really a matter of style. If it took a long time for Buhari to pronounce Kovik one nine Birus before he gave a 23seconds speech, how long would he make the next speech?

Buhari is about the only Leader in the workd who ass not addressed his citizens on corona virus crisis in the world. Where as a President he should be reassuring a fearful nation by constant press briefings, he has not done one since this crisis started almost 2 months ago. The President is ABSENT at this crucial time.

Even state Govts like Sanwo Olu is providibg way better leadership than the President.

To rationalise this unbelievable incompentence in any form is beyond believe.

"The only solution to the present political uncertainty in the country is for the National Assembly to set machineries in motion for the impeachment of ailing President Umaru Musa Yar'Adua." - Muhammadu Buhari (March 10, 2010, Sun Newspapers)

"Give Nigerians a daily update on the health of President Umaru Yar'Adua to stem the growing rumours surrounding his state of health." - Lai Mohammed (December 21, 2009, The Nation)*
These were the same hypocrites then masquerading as progressives when a president was I'll but honest to admit he was ill.

Fast forward to today, for a clueless govt to give daily briefing on policies about how a nation is grappling with their careless in handling the Coronavirus pandemic from our side of the world, it has suddenly became a "matter of style".

Meaning President Buhari is not answerable to Nigerians as usual.Femi Adeshina you have long lost your humanity but remember that being in the corridor of power is just a transient thing.

Waooo! What a style....

An elder cannot stay at home and watch the goat deliver in tethers .... A man whose house is on fire does not waste time pursuing rats...

Nigeria is on fire and the moment Aso Rock recognizes that the better for all of us...

The quietness in Aso Rock today is so loud, the blind can see through the ravaging darkness in the villa...

We look forward to hearing from our dear President.... Because the days ahead are very scary

This is balderdash.Call a spade a spade. Thiis response reeks of carelessness, cluelessness and dullardness.

In a situation of a worldwide epidemic and pandemic you are telling us that the briefing of the citizenry by the president is a matter of style.Oh my goodness, what a government.
