The raging reign of terror of coronavirus, the new virus from Wuhan, China, indisputably now the incumbent Secretary-General of all viruses worldwide, has unfortunately extended to Nigeria, our beloved country.

While coronavirus(covid-19) isn’t the first dreaded virus to wreak untold havoc on humanity, its growing reputation as a ruthless virus that moves rapidly to ‘massacre’ the lungs of its host and break-neck speed of human-human transmission, is second to none.

Your cooking gas (LPG) cylinder can easily become the secondary source of transmission, if proper care and apposite precautionary actions, are not taken.
How can this happen?

An infected gas station attendant could cough or sneeze on or into their hand, leaving respiratory droplets jam-packed with the virus in their hand.
The gas station attendant then handles your cooking gas cylinder before and after refilling your cylinder with gas, depositing tiny fluids swarming with the coronavirus on your cylinder handle or frame.

Your physical contact with this LPG cylinder when carrying it will leave the coronavirus in your hand and it goes straight into your system if you make the fatal mistake of touching your hand to your mouth, nose and eyes.

To prevent this from happening, clean the handle/frame of your cooking gas cylinder with a good sanitizer when your gas station attendant drops it in your car or before you handle it after the process of refill. After handling it, endeavor to clean your hand with a good hand sanitizer. In case a hand sanitizer is unavailable, use a good antiseptic soap and water to clean the cylinder and your hands for at least 30 seconds.

Bonus

If you see anyone coughing at the gas station, don’t stay close to the person. This is in your best interest because coronavirus can be transmitted via respiratory vapor when an infected person sneezes or coughs into the air close to you.

Important Prayer

Coronavirus (Covid-19) will not locate, intercept or pounce on you in Jesus name.
Amen.

You are absolutely correct. That's why the article ended with the important prayer.
When we do our part and back it up with prayer, coronavirus will not pounce on us.
