As the April 1st lockdown in Delta State due to the wide spread of coronavirus approaches, it is no secret that the State government has placed an embargo on the number of persons aloud at a time in public places including Churches. The Social Distance order by Governor Ifeanyi Okowa clearly states that no more than 50 persons must be allowed in the Church at a time.

Rero TV alongside other top media personnel stormed various Churches in Sapele to observe those that abided with the Government order, and those who defaulted.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Kings Palace Mega Parish along New Ogorode Road, Jesus Freedom Ministry, and Anointed Eagles Ministry defaulted as over 100 persons were seen worshiping at the same time. While Promise Kingdom Ministry aka Overflow Chapel, Omega Prophetic Prayer Ministry, living faith Church aka Winners Chapel, Catholic Churches, Channel of Greatness Unshakable Ministry were among the compliers.
