The People Democratic Party, presidential candidate, in the 2019 general election, Atiku Abubakar, has lauded the gesture of Nasir el-Rufai, governor of Kaduna, Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed, governor of Bauchi and Muhammed Babandede, Controller General of Nigeria immigration Service(NIS) for their disclosure.

Abubakar disclose this in a tweet via his tweeter handle, he said, the only we we can beat the novel coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria is by being open about it, isolation of people who have contracted the disease, testing of suspected persons and educating our people about it.

He further explained that coronavirus is not a death sentence, well all be fine.

"I wish to recommend the examples of Governors @SenBalaMohammed, @elrufai and CG @nigimmigration Babandede MFR for their disclosure. We can beat this pandemic by being open about it, educating our people, isolation and testing. It is not a death sentence, we will all be fine."

Meanwhile, Abubakar son has tested positive for coronavirus disease and has since then, been in self isolation.
