Osun State Polytechnic Iree under the leadership of Dr. Olawoye Olaniran becomes the first state Polytechnic in Nigeria to produce hand sanitizer amidst the outbreak of the pandemic coronavirus also known as Covid-19 that has killed over 700,000 people worldwide.
While Speaking with NEB Correspondent the Dean Faculty of Science, Dr. Rafiu Olamiposi Adeleke said that the school commissioned us to produce the hand sanitizer for the school and the government, and we are just doing that.
He said, "We will meet the governor and the commissioner tomorrow and deliver the product as we are currently in the laboratory ".
