The Senegalese was president of club Olympique de Marseille between 2005 and 2009. The club won the Intertoto Cup and qualified to the Champions league during his reign as president. Pape Diouf was a journalist but later delved into player representation. Former Ivory Coast player Didier Drogba and French international Samir Nasri were some of the biggest players he represented during his time as a football agent.
