My Opinion below,if you disagree kindly move along.
1. This thread is unnecessary. Too many beggers (with smart phones, data and even not genuinely in need) on Nairaland. We are trying to discourage people from this bad, poverty embracing attitude common on this forum. But some people (who are stylish beggers) themselves still keep encouraging it.
2.How do you for certain know if a moniker is truly in need? How do you determine who genuinely needs a thing most among those who shows interest?
3. What do you need welfare team for? To collect the items from donors and give to the needy nairalanders? Hmmm no be Naija again
4. Hope this is not another means of hustling?
5. Giving is good,God loves a cheerful giver. Give at any opportunity you have. But.... remember charity begins at home,at your neighborhood and at your streets. Go figure.

Yeah, abuse of stuffs like this is almost inevitable except stringent measures are taken... there may be scenarios where items given out could even be sold
#justsaying...may or may not matter
