innoson can assemble not produce

He can do both. The issue is that he might not have the capacity to deliver on time. It's race against time.he will probably not meet up but if I'm in government, I will give him contract for say 200 units. We need to develop local capacity for so many things.in case of global emergency like this

Nigeria must be setting the record for the most ignoramuses in the world. At a time like this, any offer of free medical supplies or equipment is to be jumped at with gladness.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/03/25/politics/us-global-appeal-corona-supplies/index.html

Is our Finance ministry the equivalent of the US' State department

Guys, let's not criticize for the sake of it. Ventilators are very scarce around the world now, and even with your money, you might not find to buy.

Yes, we can castigate the Nigerian government for not making healthcare a priority over the years but under the current circumstances, every government is trying its best to lay its hand on as many ventilators as it can. Trump had only a few days reached out to Putin and received a number of Ventilators from Russia as well.

This is not the time to be proud, we need all the help we can get at this time.

Oga, did you read her sentence. She is asking as if WE are a very poor nation which cannot pay for ventilators. So her request is not give us ventilators we would pay but give us ventilators for FREE.

Now did you see the comment of Tesla, they claim they have it in ground just pay and we would ship it free. So our useless government is seriously fooling around.

Just came across this tweet on twitter

Though its not wrong to ask for support, wouldn't it have been better if the FG sent an official letter to the individuals/institutions involved instead of begging on twitter??

If they could beg for 100 vents on twitter, can we really say we are ready for this fight?

https://mobile.twitter.com/FinMinNigeria/status/1245477375313416192
after Nigerian health minister said none of our cases have needed a ventilator??

Well, most inviduals in USA can buy Nigeria clean off the market.

But for the sake of self-respect and honour, wouldn't it have been proper to channel the plea to the right authority? If truly we need such, the US gov't through the USAID could do that.

Even the cars the dumb legislators bought is not from Elon Musk's company, but they want help from him.

I said it here when that dumb fvck of a president made that recorded speech, that he didn't even make any mention of VENTILATORS. Now see how beggarly a whole ministry of finance has become. Shameless leaders.

Fault my post instead making a sweeping statement.

USA has received support and still asking for external support. Same with Italy and many other countries.

Many of you guys lack basic knowledge of how things even work.

Buhari and his bunch of incompetent misfits will never stop exposing their foolishness, incompetence, myopicness andnpoor leadership quality at any given opportunity, always embarrassing this country in the comity of Nations.

Just look at the joke of a Nation. Buhari and his gang looted #12.5B allocated to Aso Rock clinic ever since he took charge yet they couldn't even buy a single ventilator, only to shamelessly go and carry one from Gwagwalada Specialist Hospital to Aso Rock, what a shame.

This is not to even mention all the budgetry allocation to health, yet they have bee fooling themselves with propaganda.

Imagine begging Ellon Musk for ventilators, shame.
And to think that Innoson offered to produce, why not look for a way to partner with Innoson in this challenging moment for the country, no , they prefer international begging.

The most annoying part of the whole mess is their online miscreants and e-diots coming to disturb the peace of the media space spewing all sorts of foolishness.

Anyways Iman of Peace rightly said " A stupid president is elected by stupid people".

Shame on all those that elected this disaster of a President.

How sophisticated people elected a certificateless dullard to rule a complex Nation like Nigeria remains the eight wonder of the world.

Rubbish.

Well said!
Cyan add nuthin buh..

The gullible folks are worse than the stupid leaders.

Let dem dwell wit it!

no reliable ventilator available for abba kyari and the numerous fat cats who are the only ones getting diagnosed - thats how i'm reading this
we die here
the old guard - the 70-80 year olds who have been ruling this country since their thirties, and who have all failed to invest in healthcare,
who have all boosted and promoted medical tourism are now facing the reality of their choices.
