Filmmaker and Legislator, who represents Surulere 1, at the Lagos State House of Assembly Honorable Desmond Elliot, has clapped back at his detractors, who rather than applaud his contribution to society, would simply stay behind the keypads of their phones to criticize him.

Elliot in a short video recorded in his office addressed the concerns of the people and their criticisms.

He explained that he is open to criticisms only when they are constructive, and not just people spewing negativity around.

He posited that at least he is contributing to society in his little way. He therefore advices whom ever feels they could do better could as well pick up nomination tickets by 2023, and vie for office.

Speaking further, he explained the motives behind his projects, including the infamous buckets of water and Sanitizers mounted at strategic places in his constituency to encourage residents to constantly keep their hands cleaned and thoroughly sanitized.

In addition, he explained that he also distributed food stuffs to people hard hit by the lockdown exercise in the state.
