As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, the fear of death had gripped all and sundry, both the rich and the poor, both the rulers and those that are ruled.

Of a truth, the hearts of many are failing them and many have restored and turned to religion which they had earlier rejected with their reckless and abominable lifestyles.

Even some self-confessed atheists and those who have earlier mocked God has suddenly been found to be praying. Such people, I ask them which God they are praying to, maybe to an unknown God, not Jehovah God.

But as for you that know God, remember God’s assurance in Psalm 91:1. God has assured His people that as long as we dwell in the secret place of the Most High, He has assured us that He is committed to ensuring that we abide under the shadow of the Almighty God.

He equally assured us in Isaiah 59:19b that when the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him.

Also, Daniel 11:32 and such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

All these promises of God are sure, however, they are not automatic as we have a part to play to make them a reality in our lives. It is just like when God assured Moses in Deuteronomy 2:24

“Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.

In the above verse, God said He has given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land. However, He told him to begin to possess it, by contending with him in battle.

What the above is trying to teach us is that like Moses and the Israelites, if we wish to see the subduing and triumph over the coronavirus.

We must all rise in battle against the demon that is responsible for that virus from the pit of hell. This battle is both individual and collective.

Please this battle or war is not carnal and all the measures of the nations of the world are doing are using carnal means to fight the virus, they are only reducing the spread but not eradicating the virus.

The demon that brought that virus was a demonic spirit from the pit of hell. Been a spirit being, that demon must be fought spiritually to subdue and triumph over it.

The book of Ephesians 6:12 says, “For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Also, the book of 2Corinthians 10:3-6 says, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds

Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

What I am trying to say is that to subdue and triumph over the coronavirus is deep-rooted in dealing with the demon that is responsible or that is sponsoring the coronavirus spiritually.
