Lol especially Forex tutors ...they can use Demo account to scam Unsuspecting students alot

A good tutor or mentor is that trader who teaches you but beyond teaching you he predicts price movement and it plays out so with high per cent accuracy.

Now this is what I mean, when he tells you that this pair will buy, it's not just it will buy but from a particular zone. Not buying when the market has gone over 150 pips against me but the market reacting at exactly that zone . Guy when you watch such things play out and given your years of struggle you will think it's magic but it's not.

Forex is not for gamblers.

It all depends on How much Capital you trade with

Of course to whom much is expected much should be given. When ExxonMobil is paying 25m per annum are they 100m investment? Answer is no.

Let me say this with emphasis, forex is biggest industry known to man today. An industry that turns out 5-7 trillion dollars everyday from Monday to Friday. The likes of ExxonMobil rep little branch.

But there's a warning: GAMBLERS STAY CLEAR.

I get you...A good tutor will teach you all the basics of trading to be able to succeed...but when it comes to the issue of gambling ...then there's little the tutor can do about that ..cos its a personal decision to be greedy..Now the tutor offcos would lure the students with very big trades showing 2000 USD, 1500 USD etc...the student would be eager to make such whoooping sum in just one day which is achievable offcos with a large equity and a good lotsize..offcos during the period of the training ..the tutor may mention the importance of learning effective principles of money management ...but all that will be lost on the new and eager student who may be starting with very little equity ...so he rushes in without patience using a very big lotsize and kaboom ...he clears his account ...then the early quitters start calling forex a scam ...This is just one of the scenarios

Exactly. So in this case it is not the tutor's fault but the student failing to adhere to the rules of mm.

And that is gamblers' mentality.

You have to work for every you earn there.

So you want to work where you don't work for every whatever you mean you work for?
How could you possibly work for every kobo of 2million naira a month?

I have friends working in oil companies both off and on shore, they have more free time than bank workers

dont mind them, they love overhyping and over exaggerating things, salary is good in top oil companies in Nigeria but nobody pays a entry level 25million per year
Bros they do. Ask people working with NLNG. NLNG is meant to top that list.

Throwback:

Those initial rates are valid.

N5.8m per annum in Total?

Even OND Engineering graduates working in Total and ExxonMobil earn more than double that
N5.8m as their gross pay working as Production Operators on FPSOs and Offshore platforms.
I think NLNG pays more

from this post he is the COO and has 0.17% shares of dangote group

https://www.marketscreener.com/business-leaders/Olakunle-Alake-07C06Y-E/biography/

The name of the holding company of Dangote Businesses is Dangote Industries Limited. The general name of the businesses is Dangote Group.

The current governor of Nasarawa state was the CEO Dangote Sugar, Joseph Makoju a former CEO of PHCN and Wapco Cement recently retired as the CEO of Dangote cement according to the annual report Makoju earned N450 million per annum excluding certain allowances and benefits. Dangote cement just employed a Frenchman who was the CEO of Lafarge Wapco as a replacement for Makoju.

Kunle Alake's position at the Dangote Industries Limited as the COO, which is the parent company of Dangote Refinery, Dangote cement, Dangote sugar, NASCON and other companies in the group is higher than the position of the CEO of the various subsidiaries.
Kunle Alake has spent about 30 years working with Dangote, right from the days of the defunct Liberty Merchant Bank owned by Dangote.

Op your just quoting figures, most figures you put up there are totally wrong, though you will be made to understand you can earn such figure, but truth is eventually it will be far below the figure and you can't do anything about it.

Though if you know your way you can easily make double of that figure annually especially if you work with JVC team

We have been there and decided to pull out.

Talking as an insider.

This guy and Throwback are some of the guys that made sense with their comments.

Most of the comments here just endangers the lives the employees in these oil companies. Imagine someone even saying the MD of one IOC reside in his estate bla bla bla. That's a serious security breach.

It's for this reason that all these coys give their employees serious orientation on how they live their lives (low key preferably) and even discourage them from bringing their relatives to stay with them (because of kidnapping. Investigations have shown that employees who have had incidences of kidnapping were traced to very close relatives that were living with them.)

Make every man hustle and pray to God to bless their hustle and divine favours.

Have a happy Palm Sunday.

They are many, but they should be less than 1000. The severance package for the CEOs of most banks is about N1 billion

Sir, what's the difference between the the holding company Dangote Industries Limited and the general company Dangote Group.

Also, please in some financial statements of companies listed in NSE they have Group and Company what's the difference. As an investor, which do you look out for, is it the group or the company.

Dangote group comprises of all the businesses owned by Dangote. Dangote Industries Limited is the majority shareholder in the businesses. Like Dangote Cement it has over 17 billion outstanding shares out of this Dangote Industries Limited owned over 15 billion shares. Dangote Industries Limited got a total dividend of N210 billion from Dangote cement after the deduction of withholding taxes in 2019. Will earn same dividend when the company holds its AGM in June 2020.

That's a nice pay tho, but most of these are for expatriates and the few ones remaining are for the dangerously connected elites, well hope they will be able to maintain these figures with the present oil price crash
That's actually not true - your expatriate claim.

Gerrard like how informed one needs to be to earn such and which valuable skill one needs to acquire to be able to earn such amount

Being informed entails knowing the various platforms where you can sell your skills or where you see constant ads on the skills you offer with good wages. OTOH, having a valuable skill set means what you offer is highly demanded and well renumerated compared to others. For instance, although writing is a good skill, programming/coding is far more demanded and well renumerated. Also worth mentioning is video editing and the likes. In summary, the skills where you have less supply but greater demand = fantastic wages.
