Good morning good people of Nairaland. I hope you all are doing great and keeping safe during this period of corona virus endemic..

Pls I need help!! My younger brother has been battling with a certain rash on his head since 2013. We keep on treating and after sometimes the rashes disappear and appear later.

He has used all kinds of creams and was even on pills to treat the rashes yet the rashes refuse to go. Pls is there anybody that knows the name of the rashes and how it can be treated because my younger brother is gradually losing his self-esteem because he can hardly go out without putting on cap to cover the area that is affected by the rashes.

Suggestions, criticism and possible solutions to the problem are welcomed. Doctors in the house your input will be highly appreciated. Attached below is a picture showing the true state of the affected areas

Pls mods move this to FP for wider coverage

Use detol liquid to rub it.. within Few days it will dry up

Tell him to rub it after scrubbing that burns.
Thank me later

I have suffered this acne before but what cured it was not what I expected, after spending thousands of naira to fraudsters. This is what you will do,scrap the surface make sure all of the bumps are scrapped, rub it kerosine, you heard my right kerosene,do it twice and give glory to God

Please never scratch or scrape open the bumps , if you do you will regret it . This is because the bumps will become swollen, infected and painful. It's Keloid acne , all you need is Epiderm cream and if you can afford Selsun Blue shampoo buy it and always use it to wash ur head, regular use of Dermatol cream can also help

You need to carry sacrifice at night to appease the gods. The gods are angry with you and if you don't do the necessary sacrifice, it might destroy your whole head and even enter your brain.
You will carry the sacrifice in the evening. Don't wear anything except boxers and singlets. You will walk around your town or village and be confessing how many ladies you have slept with.

This is why it's good to have your personal clipper to avoid getting infected with bacterial or fungal or even viral infections by using public clippers.

I've had this on my head since 2001, mine isn't growing cuz I met a dermatologist on time n he told me never to tough it at all, the more u touch it, the more it grows. It has no cure, it happens because u have a very rough hair. Just dont touch it again n pls avoid any local solution from advisers.

IT IS NOT A BACTERIA OR VIRAL INFECTION ITS NOT AN INFECTION AT ALL.

U can use Triamsinolone aka kenalog cream to reduce it a bit and then dont treat or touch it again. Triamsinolone is a steroid that inhibits growth, it's cheap

This is caused by ingrown hair. Usually hair that was cut too close to the skin.

Buy antifungal/antiinflammatory gel and apply regularly for at least a week.

When cutting your hair, ensure that the barber doesn't cut the back too close. And always apply the gel immediately.

Get hydrocortisone cream. It’s really effective at this small stage. It’s quite expensive but effective

Whenever you go to the barber's shop, always make sure you use SKINEAL after shave and stop the habit of allowing your barber to carve that part of your head due to the high concentration of fat at that section of the head..

TESTED AND TRUSTED REMEDY

Ingredients:
Lime
Kanwa (potash)
Detergent
Buy neoskin from pharmacy

Grind the potash to powdered form
Cut the lime/lemon into two put the powder ash to it
Scru the affected area till it starts paining you
After that you mixed little water the d detergent to make it thick
Apply the detergent to the affected area,
Allow it to dry up
When it dry up, wash it, then u apply the neoskin there

That's all.
I was having similar issue but ever since I carryout the above procedure, it disappeard till date.

Try and look for Mckoll cream. It works like magic on that. I used that over 15 years ago and it did great. Luckily for you, it is still available in the market. It will clear it all within a month trust me and go thank your God later. Ur also lucky it has not
formed the big bumps. Try it and buy me beer later.
