Extract the cities folder to your memory card.You might have to delete the cities folder already existing on your memory card or transfer contents of the downloaded file into it.

i encountered 2 problems.
1. I can't see the map of nigeria at all only places that i previously viewed
2. Whenever i zoom out, i don't get to zoom out completely before the application exists by it self

1.Update your Ovi Maps to 3.0x
2.Delete the cities folder on your memory card.Only keep the qf file.

chai this ovi maps 3.0.0302 aint offering free navigation, how much does the license cost?

Free lifetime navigation is restricted to certain phone models,can't remember which.As for cost of the licence,i have no idea.At least,you can navigate manually with the offline map.

You never mentioned keeping the Qf file before. Too late cos i deleted every thing when i wanted to replace the cities folder with the one that i downloaded. The whole thing doesn't work now
and now i've encountered another problem, whenever i click on my position in the menu the map exits. How can i revert everything to the way it was before your offline map thing. Is it possible

Don't bother about the qf file.What Ovi maps version did you upgrade to?That's where the problem is.
What's your phone and firmware version?Ovi 3.0x doesn't do well on old firmware.

@ wackyj1: try using ur software update to see if it will update your ovi maps to the latest version. Cum to tink of it, didn't ur c5 cum wiv maps pre-installed? Cuz that the 1 ting hav neva deleted from my memory card.

@viruz i've already updated my maps a while ago but the stuff still didn't work. So i deleted the entire cities folder and opened my ovi and it automatically created another one. I don't wanna mess with my maps again.

Use free signer to remove the certificate from the apps and then sign with your own certificate. As for the maps, they didn't work for me either check my previous post to see what i did

It has to be the one from plunder.com/kendy cos any other AED won't work.

As per setting, turn off the @ 3ik & put the yello network homepage in the field for host. Everyother space should be left blank. . .don't know about airtel.

Downloaded the 2011 Oscar Awards (mobile avi compressed version) @ dawn this morning and I'm off to watch it.

aieromon thank u, i succesfully ugraded my nokia e71 usin phoenix and dloadin d latest data package frm btuser, d data package i downloaded for my toy has free nav, now i'm jst cruisin with my free nav.

i signed d hello0X with free signer on both phones,
d e71 was applying patches for so long
and d C6 too couldnt finish d installation of d hello0X
