I've got an iphone 5s that stopped working on july last year (my relative told me water entered the phone) abandoned it for another 2months that is september 2016 ..the iphone could not still come on and not charging so I went online and tried the hard reset and to my surprised it started displaying charging and could come on (problem solved)..then I noticed the phone being too hot for just an ordinary charge and noticed it charged very very slow..lets say 4 percent in 40mins..since I wasn't going to use the phone I then abandoned it for another 2months that is till december...now d iphone can not turn on ..when charging noting comes on only the body being warm...went to slot for repair the engineer told me it was battery problem he checked and said it wasnt battery after so checking screen and all.he said it was the phones panel that is the mother board , logic .etc...so now what can I do for an option? can it be repaired

Change the charger. Try using the OEM charger (the one that came with the phone) If it doesn't work then don't use your phone while charging.

Download Ampere from the play store and use it to check your charging voltage & current.
Use it to test with different charger combinations until you find one that works.
Use your OEM charger (the one that came with the phone), if that one is unavailable, Try to see if you can get that Infinix charger (the white Oraimo one) and the black Kodak USB cord they sell for #500 or so.

Hi house... Av got a Tecno Y2 here which doesn't charge 'properly' .. It's very very slow while chaging.. It hardly charges 15% in an hour.. Imagine uleft ur phone @10% 12am ndwake up around 5am and U met jxt 70%..... what can cause this?

. nd also ma PC doesn't read d phone when connected.

Since the phone is under a year old it's still covered by warranty.
You can take it to Carlcare for repairs. (cc CarlcareSophia)
I've heard bad stuff about Carlcare though but your mileage may vary.

I guess it's from the flip case.
Remove the flip case, turn off smart cover.

See.. It's happening because it's an inbuilt battery if not you would just have to take the battery out then put it again?..... Just take it to a phone engineer let him loose the phone remove the battery and put it again... It would respond... Cuz I have solved a similar case
