Engineers please what are the drawbacks of buying a phone with non-removable battery?

That depends on your definition of 'drawback' as used in this context. However, you should know that non-removable battery is a design employed by most manufacturers today. So, either you like it or not, you'd someday end up with one.

To be candid, there is no draw back. Things perceiived as drawbacks or disadvantages by many are indeed not drawbacks.

Thanks. But to be more direct, the question is 'Is there possibility of replacing the so called non-removable batteries when they get bad'. Are the replacement batteries easily accessible like the old school removable batteries.

Yes, u can always change if it is bad. the fact it is called non-removable, does not literally mean it is actually not removable. I guess d term is for d user.

Sorry, the things you can do now is try and root it. Then, install kinguser inorder to remove unnecessary apps. DO NOT UNINSTALL 'CORE' APPS or 'SYSTEM' APPS. Kinguser will tell you which and which app is safe to uninstall.

Next get link2sd or app2sd or any other relative app to move apps completely from internal storage to sdcard.

Once these are done, the lagging problem should be almost gone if not completely gone. Plus you'd have more storage for installation of other apps.

Do not forget you're dealing with a phone of 1GB ram and 8GB rom. Thats all it has got.

Tnx bro..You've been very helpful. Let me try them out and see how it goes.

You have been very helpful bro. I downloaded Kingroot, installed it but when I start rooting the phone, when it gets to 70-80% it will be disrupted and show either network error or that I need more memory. I did a full back up and reset the phone and tried again, still same problem.

How do I root my infinix hot 6 pro? My phone doesn't give enough access to my external memory and I want to root to be able to tweak this setting. How do I proceed? I root, poot, and Kingroot haven't done a thing.

Use the Pc version of 'iRoot'. That should work. Just ensure usb debugging is enabled from your settings and you grant adb access should there be such pop during the process. However, you might need to install Android ADB drivers. (Google search for guidelines)

Hello gurus,

What could be said to be wrong with my phone. Assuming the battery is fully charged now and I switch it off, after sometime, the battery will run down even when it is not being used not to talk of when it is on.

Is it the battery that is so bad or could it be that there is an issue with it that makes it to drain power so fast.

The phone is a Samsung brand. A note 5.
