My Nokia 6.1 restarts at times and shut down occasionally too especially when watching movies. The battery also goes from, example 94% at times when you remove the charger to maybe 88% without it being used. The battery life too has diminished. And above all, it's always hot when charging or in use.
Engineers in the house please help me out. I live in Ondo State.
It's most likely to be a board problem, especially the over heating of the that is draining the battery

Romoss is a very solid power bank!
After buying a fake power bank in computer village,it was written 30,000 MAH capacity, sadly it couldn't charge my s7 edge back then to full capacity. I opened it up and to my surprise I saw some bag of sand that was well placed inside just to give the impression that the power bank is heavy enough for its capacity grin

Did my research which led me to ROMOSS,I bought the 20,000 MAH from a nairalander. I must tell you ROMOSS is an amazing brand. In order not to buy a fake or so,you can reach out to this guy @ just2endowed ,he is a great guy.

Good luck.

Thanks brother I really appreciate this.

Some minutes ago it went off and came on again. The battery reduced from 30% to 16%. I switched it off before charging it again, lo and behold it jumped to 54% and continue to charge until it got to 92% and got stuck for a while before I removed the charger and replugged it which later made it to reach the 100% mark.

Pls I need help.

I recently bought a phone from a seller I meet on Jiji, an infinix hot 4 pro to be precise. I bought it for my kids online lectures. Everything works fine on the phone except the network which hardly comes up with 2G. I thought it was location problem but the one am using has full network.

So I decided to check the IMEI to see if it's correct, only for me to find out that the phone is carrying a wrong IMEI diff from the one written on the battery. I still went ahead to check it on imei.info and the result I got was invalid IMEI.

Pls I want to know could the invalid IMEI be the cause of insufficient network? Thanks, as I await your help.

I will advise then that you change the battery first, because sometimes a faulty battery can cause overheating problem. Contact me on 080.38.294998 if you want to change the battery

Good evening guys. I'll like to disturb you all with an issue I have been having with my phone since yesterday.
Yesterday, I was listening to music with my earphones, after sometime I decided to take off my earphones only to realize that the earphone icon is still ontop of the screen. I then tried to listen to music without my earphones but i didn't hear a sound. I then put my earphones an I could hear perfectly.
Please those anyone have an idea about this? Note my alarm still rings .

Hi y'all,

The former thread had exceeded 100 pages which is the maximum number of pages allowed for a thread on Nairaland.

Besides what better way to start off the new year than on a new thread hence the closure of the old Phone Engineers On Nairaland Willing To Assist You thread started by thomp4pal and it's continuation here.

So dragnet, pelumiv, hayprof, Gsmxpert, aieromon, engrhamid, otikpoko, thom4pal, puskin and all you Phone Techies or Engineers/Wanna-be Phone Engineers/Experienced Phone Users should bring your A-game here and keep providing e-solutions to the numerous phone problems that will be posted by Nairalanders.

I hereby officially declare Part II of the thread open today being January 1, 2011 and yield the floor to the engineers and those with phone problems.

Enjoy!

My Samsung s7 Edge has these issues
1. There's a pink line running from top to bottom on the screen
2. During charging or after some use, the phone becomes warm; if the screen times out (i.e. goes off) in this state, I will need to press the phone screen hard or place iced block on the screen to turn it on again (it won't come on by just pressing the home key or power button)

Can anyone pls help

It's either you buy an original panel to replace the refurbished one or you buy a good phone.
