Breaking the chain of transmission through lockdown, he says is one of the greatest ways of preventing the spread of the virus. According to him, medical kits alone cost 1.5 million dollars. When the chattered flight is included; it gets to 2 million dollars. The ambassador further states that China received support from Nigeria during their own COVID-19 lockdown, and believes their coming to Nigeria is a way of reciprocating the kind gesture of Nigeria gave them.
