Although this is good news for some families, I don't think it is good news for the society.

Of recent, gunshots at midnight, particularly 12am - 3am keeps me awake all night... came to visit family and I'm stuck here...

Call Police... they'll arrive whenever they deem fit, park at the junction, turn on siren and possibly chew on sugar cane.

Criminal activities would definitely be on the rise...

The last time armed robbers came (last week Saturday), after shooting with their automatic guns... the yanbangers (vigilante) ran away and promised not to return

Prisoners love the idea of being free men but the fact is most of them always go back to jail because they don't know how to fit back into the real world once out.

I just hope it's not Boko Haram boys they stylishly released to go and take over the positions of those wiped out by the Chadians?

Covid-19 has made our businesses shut down for 3 weeks and counting.
That's a lot of damage done. https:///qhSchFairE

I read somewhere today that the Federal Government has spent 1 billion naira on SMS for Corona virus awareness.

Bunch of thieves.

There is an ulterior motive and it is probably corrupt. What is the point in this? Prisoners are already quarantined. They should be in one of the safest places there is. Releasing convicted felons is about one of the dumbest things I ever heard of, they are in prison because they are a threat to society , politicians live in walled homes with armed security , what about us, and they want to take our safety that we have to defend ourselves, family and homes, but they are not giving up their armed guards ! What a great idea! Now that regular people are trapped at home, release all the prison and jail residents to rob and break into all. They're in jail for being a threat..... no re-do or Monday quarterback.
If they didnt follow rules like no kill, no steal, no assault.... think they'll comply to social distancing or wearing a mask??
