Easter 2020 | 20 Things You Can Do At Home. by Zigarmy: 9:08am On Apr 12, 2020
Easter this year is definitely very different, with the increasing confirmed cases and casualties, it is advisable that you stay indoors and celebrate with family. Below are 20 things you can do at home to ensure you have an awesome celebration.

1. Attend your church service – A lot of churches have adopted live streaming of Sunday and weekly activities. You can find out if your church is probably going to go live on Facebook, or any of the other social media platforms. If no, look out for other churches who are going to be streaming their services over the internet and join them.

2. Make a snack – For a lot of people, making a snack can be therapeutic or/and fun too. You can make a snack like chin-chin, cake, biscuits, or puff-puff to ensure that you have something to munch on. You really do not need to go out if you do not have the ingredient available and it will be difficult to get in your area, make do with what you have. As the saying goes, when the desirable is unavailable, the unavailable becomes the desirable.

3. Prepare the Easter Meal – Yes, the main course meal for Easter. You can put in some more time to ensuring you have a spectacular delicacy that is befitting for you and yours. So get into the kitchen and prepare a nice Easter meal!

4. Try out a new recipe! Are you bold enough to try out something you have never tried before? Now is the time. That recipe that you kept saying you will do when you have the time can now leave your bookmark or pages of your diary and get into an oven or the fire. If you do not have one in mind already, get on Google and start searching for recipes you can try out with the ingredients you have in your house. You will be amazed!

5. Clean your house – Oh yes, stop looking at the time. if your house is untidy or there are places in your house that you haven’t touched when cleaning now is the time. Get that broom and packer and towels to ensure every length and breadth of your apartment is sparkling.

6. Declutter your house! A lot of us have unnecessary baggage eating up space and making our apartment look very busy. This is the time to go through your clothes, shoes, kitchen, shelves and take out all the unnecessary things ( you can give to your neighbors), leaving only those you need! You will feel a huge relieve and a breath of fresh air being able to do this. You will also be shocked at the amount of space you have to LIVE!

7. Declutter your devices – Laptops, Mobile Phone. From time to time we have unnecessary media and files on our devices that clog their memory and make them rather slow and hang. Oh yes! You can spend part of your day to get rid of documents that aren’t needed. Trash them and empty your bins to improve your device performance and make them function better.

8. Read a book – If you haven’t had the time to read, you can schedule a time to read your paperback books or if you do not have, you could go online and get books to read.

9. Watch Movies – There are tons of movies that are very interesting, and you can have a list of movies selected for the day and watch them.

10. Go on social media and engage – Tik-tok is the new cool, if you are a social media lover, you can get on social media and follow up with your friends and your audience and find out what they are doing this Easter

11. Create Content – Don’t just consume, create something creative enough that will help people through this period. It may be video-based, graphical or text. It might even be a book! now is the time to create content that will help humanity.

12. Call family and friends – Remember this is a day to connect with your loved ones. Create a list of people that mean something to you and beyond just saying happy Easter to them, strike a conversation. Find out how they are coping during the period and gist with them. Catch up with what is going on in their lives.

13. Play games – If you have a console, good and fine. You can also play games on your mobile phones and what is most interesting is that there are games you can play with your friends wherever they are in the world.

14. Research – find out what is currently happening in your career and how people are adapting to their new realities, start taking notes. you could be releasing a bestseller at the end of this pandemic, but that will only happen if you are researching and journaling at the moment.

15. Exercise – A day to be fit and not just eat! Spend some time doing push-ups, seat-ups and all the other exercises you can do from home!

16. Virtual tours – You know all those fancy places you said you would go during this holiday? Find out if they have a virtual tour feature if they do, you can book a virtual tour to have an experience on how they look and feel. Remember the law of attraction! You can use the day to embed what you wish to do in your minds, and who knows… after the lockdown, this might just be your first point of call.

17. Spend time with family. When last did you seat together to eat, watch a movie or discuss deeply? This is a day to spend time with your family, engaging in mutual activities of interest and being present.

18. Meditate, Sleep and Relax – Yes! this isn’t overrated yet. You can learn how to stay still by practicing meditation to relax your mind and body. Catch some sleep and heal your mind and body!

19. Sing and play the instrument – If you have an instrument at home, by all means, entertain, you could learn a new song and play along.

20. Learn a skill – I am sure you have seen this a lot of times. The fact is we all have to come out better from this. What is that one skill you have been intending to learn? All in all, we wish you an interesting Easter in 2020 and we hope that this ends soon. Remember to maintain proper hygiene and stay home to flatten the curve.

Well, the Resurrection of Jesus Christ does not signify anything to me. As of yet not a single case of resurrection has been documented scientifically.

Firstly, even if it were unimpeachably true that a man called Jesus resurrected from the dead, this does not prove in the slightest way that the universe had a creator, Mohammed is the last prophet, nor would it prove that Jesus turned water to wine, that he healed the blind or he was born of a virgin

all that this prove is that the man called Jesus re-spawned, and that he had terrible lag because it took him three days
