Shehu Sani, a former Senator, has called on state governors bragging their states can feed the nation to show up as their services will now be needed.

Mr Sani made the call Tuesday night amidst calls by Nigerians that the government should provide palliatives for Nigerians to help cushion the economic effects of Coronavirus disease in the country.



Most states in the Northern region of the country pride themselves as producing enough food that can feed the nation despite their citizens begging for alms daily.

For the former lawmaker, the time for the states to render their services has come and they should all come out.

“Most Governors used to brag that their states can feed the nation;Thy hour hath come where are thee?,” Sani said on Twitter.
