Below are some of the 2020/2021 NGO scholarships in Nigeria:

1. AWIEF/Mohammed VI Polytechnic University LeadTech Incubation Program 2020 for Young African Women Entrepreneurs
This is one of the 2020/2021 NGO scholarship in Nigeria. And it’s a partnership between the Africa Women Innovation and Entrepreneurship Forum (AWIEF) and the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University, through its entity P-Curiosity Lab.

The aim is to support 15 African young female entrepreneurs. And this is as part of the 2020 LeadTech startups promotion. Furthermore, the goal of the program is to foster innovation and entrepreneurship at start-up for scale. Also, it’s to strengthen sustainability of growth.
Also, the program aims to nurture and provide a supportive environment for women entrepreneurs. And this is to grow their businesses and become independent.

Eligibility: Applicant must be from an African country. Also, must be between the ages of 18 and 50. And must be citizens of an African country. Also, must have an innovative offer that integrated digital technologies into the process.

2. SAP Skills For Africa Programme 2020 for Nigerian Graduates
SAP is offering three-month full-time training programme for Nigerian graduates in 2020. And this is another NGO scholarship in Nigeria. SAP Skills for Africa Programme invests in the future workforce. Also, it delivers a comprehensive program.

Furthermore, this program combines technical and soft skill elements over a set period of time. Additionally, at the end of the program, the trainees become certified SAP consultants.

This scholarship is looking for young men and women who are ready to embrace leadership. Also, it’s looking for those who are ready to work hard to transform their countries.

It was launched by the U.S government as a signature effort to invest in the next generation of African leaders. And at the end of the program participants will be awarded with certificate and become a member of the YALI Alumni.

Also, participants will be taking through various forms of leadership training. This is to prepare them for leadership role in their various endeavors

Eligibility: Applicant must be a citizen and resident of one of the eligible African countries. Also, must be not U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the U.S. And must be proficient in reading, writing, listening and speaking English.

However, they must have innovative business ideas. Also, must have businesses that have been in existence for less than 3 years. And it can be in any sector, from across Africa. Also, it is the $100 million commitment by African investor and philanthropist, Tony O. Elumelu. And it aims at empowering 10,000 entrepreneurs in 10 years.

Furthermore, successful applicants will join the over 9,000 current beneficiaries, from 54 African countries. And they will receive business training and mentoring. Also, they’ll receive a non-refundable $5,000 of seed capital and global networking opportunities.

Also, through partners of Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship, there is provision for the selection of high achieving students. However, these students are those from under resource backgrounds. Also, it provides full education for them.

Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship 2021 for African Students

Jim Ovia Foundation is currently welcoming applications from qualified African students for its 2021 Leaders Scholarship through Ashesi University. In other words, applications are being invited from interested candidates for the Jim Ovia Foundation Leaders Scholarship 2021, a partnership between the Jim Ovia Foundation, and the Africa-America Institute, to educate young Africans to lead the continent.

Through their university partners, the Jim Ovia Scholarship will make available, comprehensive scholarships to select high achieving students, from under-resourced backgrounds, a full education that will equip them with the necessary skills for a dynamic and innovation-driven career.
