I've been meaning to ask this question because sometimes the way some Christians speak about how their lives are better than others, or their personal relationship with Christ makes one feel in the wrong place or less of a Christian than them. Also, does it have to do with personal conviction or just a knowledge that you've been redeemed?

Yeah! It happens! But you need to be aware that most times it's the devil trying to make you feel you have not been forgiven! Or that you are not Saved!

As long as you Have Repented and Accepted JESUS CHRIST You need to Rebuke that voice or feeling of condemnation..

Just Ensure you live a Holy life..

You need to have the scriptures in you

God bless you.Salvation is personal and you must serve God with fear and trembling as the bible puts it.Meaning you must not live a live of willful and habitual sin & expect the grace of God to cover you.bible says can we continue in sin so that grace may abound? NO. God forbid.But there comes a time in the lives of Every mature or baby christians when the devil tries to confuse you & delude you into doubting your salvation,redemption & the forgiveness of your sins.he tries to make you feel that God does not love you enough or has not completely forgiven you & makes you feel unworthy.either becos you still struggling with sinful weaknesses as we all do.But thats a great lie and trick of the devil.As far as the east is from the west so has God removed our transgressions far from us(psalm103:12) .God has done it all.He made jesuschrist who knew no sin to become sin for us. that we might become the righteousness of GOD by christ jesus(2nd corinthians 5:21).You therefore need to know d word of God.HALLELUYAH!!.

Honest question...I like that.
Yes it is very possible to feel "unsaved" and/or "condemned" at times during this Christian journey.
Sometimes it's self-inflicted (something we may have done and feel guilt about) or it's the enemy trying to tempt you to let go of the Lord's hand.

John 3:16-17 (KJV) tells us what to do...and how one can become His child.
When we "UN-willfully"sin or fall (because it happens at times), we still have an advocate if we do the following (1 John 1:9 KJV) and (Proverbs 24:16 KJV).
We do need, however, to get to the point where we don't continue to live as defeated children through Christ' power (2 Cor. 5:17 KJV).

Your faith has to come from a "living faith" in Christ.
Oftentimes, it comes through experiences....YOUR relationship with the Lord Jesus...not anyone else's.
It's easy to sit in church and read and recite some scripture passages, listen to the pastor and then go home, yet still feel NOTHING.
That is because what is read in the Bible has to become real in your life.
If you are striving to live a life pleasing to Christ, then you must believe that He is in control of your life....regardless of how circumstances may appear.

Last thing: As I continue to mature, the one thing I am understanding much more, is that you cannot focus on people. You just cannot. Wheat and tare grow together until the time of harvest. Till then, we cannnot truly (with 100 percent accuracy) know just exactly who's who.
If a Christian is comparing his/her life to other Christians or even anyone, then understand that there is error there.
Another person is NOT your measuring stick: Jesus Christ is.
While we do have a standard that we are to uphold as followers of Christ, you can rest assured that every human on the planet
has a sin/struggle/challenge that he/she is battling...and therefore is not in a position to uphold "pride".
It is also wise to prayerfully surround oneself with positive, encouraging yet truthful and firm Christians who are serious in their walk witg the Lord....
When feeling discouraged about your salvation, always combat those feelings with what the Lord has promised in His Word through faith.

If you're feeling that way, that is because you have studied the word of God thoroughly to the extent you catch the rhema. "And you shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free" the truth is the word of God and you need to meditate upon it day and night.
Studying the word daily is what gives you the conviction that you are truly saved.

Study to shew thyself approved, a work man that needeth not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth'

After salvation your soul is saved eternally. It remains for your mind to be renewed which is done by reading the word
