April 14, 2020 *WHY GOVERNOR SANWO OLU SHOULD GRANT THREE MONTHS AMNESTY FOR HOMEOWNERS UNDER THE RENT TO OWN MORTGAGE SCHEME IN LAGOS STATE STARTING FROM THE MONTH OF APRIL*. Dear governor SANWO-olu, This is a request from the HOMEOWNERS under the RENT TO OWN MORTGAGE SCHEME in Lagos state. We are appealing to you to grant us amnesty for the next three months to serve as palliatives as the pandemic has really affected our incomes. Nobody envisaged the second Phase of this lockdown in the state. Many of us under private employment are on the verge of loosing our jobs as a result of the lockdown order in the state, Some are self-employed who have no means of making ends meet during this period but count on your generous style of governance to turn situation around for them for this period of total restriction of movement. Tensions are at peak now as the month drawn to the end. Blood pressure is going up and down, many of us are concerned about the fact that the bank will give a negative Balance on our bank account. We are afraid of defaulting, thereby owning Lagos state government for these months, hence the reason for this appeal. We have exhausted our savings, empty our accounts and not having any hope of survival during this period. We appeal you grant us amnesty for three months starting from April to cushion the effects of the pandemic ravaging the society. We look forward to hearing from you soon, while thanking you in anticipation for a favourable consideration. Ìtèsíwájú ipinle Eko ló jẹ mí lo gun. Thank you Signed Concerned HOMEOWNERS. Share till gets to our amiable governor of Lagos state. |
