An Open Letter to the Senator Representing Enugu West senatorial zone.

Dear Senator Prof. Ike Ekweremadu!

It's no longer hidden that the current global challenge called Coronavirus is Rocking Nigerians and it's citizens. This pandemic have also left so many families in your constituent jobless, and have affected so many people financially due to directives and restrictions.
We have served 14 day lockdown from the federal government without going to work or market. I am very sure you are aware that majority of the people in your constituency survive on there daily huzzle and incomes, without that they cannot be able to feed there families.
So many individuals and philanthropists have really tried to help people in your constituency, starting from Sensitization down to the share of Stimulus packages. But the love of our elected leader whom we entrusted with our votes is of utmost priority. I am pretty sure that you know what the people that voted you to become there Senator is facing at this trying time, but your shadow have not been felt to at least show them the care of a leader. Let me remind you that there is hunger in your constituency right now, and they all need your intervention. It is so disheartening that your office have not given any attention to the plight of the people you are representing during this lockdown, i was expecting that proactive measures would have been put in place to ensure betterments of the lives of the constituents you are representing during this Pandemic Covid-19, but yet, could not hear any thing either from you or your aids.

Right now as we have passed the stage of Sanitizers and face masks due to cases registered in other states and Enugu State at large. The Enugu State Government have placed restrictions and rules in some activities of the State which have affected the prize of food in the market by 100% and some people's means of getting money. What the people needs now is Food.

Senator Prof. Ike Ekweremadu! This is the time people need those rice you always share during election.

This is the time people needs those money you use to buy wrappers, vehicles, Generators and grinders, so as to buy food in order to stay safe. Remember that a "hungry man is an angry Man", and as such vulnerable.

This is the time for people to get food and cash instead of those medical guys you pay for health outreach during campaigns.

This is the time those money shared at pooling units are to be used to get food for the less privileged. Go to the villages and see how people in your constituency are suffering as a result of malnutrition.

This is a time the people wishes to stay alive in this phase of tribulations. Truth be told, you have really ignored the trust that the people of Enugu West have given to you. Why not put yourself in there shoes and know what it feels like to be hungry. it is good you act now because a stitch in time saves nine. We gave you our mandate which you promised to always be there for us, but now, we are highly disappointed. At this juncture, 2023 won't be an easy go for us. You cannot beat a child and tell him not to cry!! We need a friend who will always be there in time of need. No More nepotism!

Act Now..

This letter will only die a natural death on Nairaland; it doesn't get to them. Why not Tweet him directly?
