*Cookies Recipe*

�Cookies is a form of baked snack that you can serve with chilled drinks especially the Nigerian zobo(hibiscus drink�).
�It can also be piped with royal or butter cream icing.
�It's different from biscuits because its softer than biscuits and crunchy. To get lovely cut shapes for this cookies you might need cookies cutters.

�There are a good number of recipes for different types of cookies. But I would share this basic one with you.

*Recipe*
Butter - 80g
Flour -1cup
1 egg *yolk*
1/3cup- of icing sugar
1tsp - milk flavour
½tsp- Cinnamon powder for additional flavour (optional)
NB: *Monitor and bake cookies with low heat as it burns very quickly*

*Cookies Procedure*
�In a clean bowl,
� add sifted dry all purpose flour, sifted icing/powdered/confectioners sugar, flavour(this could also include vanilla apart from the ones stated in the recipe), combine properly.

�Scoop in your butter and combine again to get a crumbly texture then �add in your egg *yolk*(I highlighted this so that one would not make the mistake of using the egg enjoyed.

�Mix to combine well to form a dough
�Then flatten slightly and cut out your shapes.

�Bake for about 10-15mins
Crunchy cookies is ready�������

#SIMPLE POUNDED YAM

�Do you like poundo (pounded yam) but feel it's too stressful to make?
�Do you always pound yet it comes out in lumps or probably too tender?


#STEPS
�peel and dice yam into small pieces and wash
�put in a blender and blend(add little water to blend properly but not too much)
�Put the blended yam in a pot on low heat
�Use a spatular ( wooden spoon, eba Turner, etc. Anyone you call it) to stir
�keep stirring as it thickens.
You don't want lumps in it.
When its well cooked, you can wrap
Enjoy with favorite soup������
