Crowd Control!!!!!, what if 1 million people can afford 1000naira, how do they intend to control that, raise gate fee to 2000Naira?. This is so wrong and i dont think anyone should try and defend this.

It wasn't compulsory to be there! Those not happy with the fee could have watched from home or from a designated centre. It is NOT COMPULSORY TO GIVE TO GOD OR GOD'S WORK! Some people put in their time FOR NO PAYMENT to make that event possible! Some people too can put in SOME MONEY to enjoy the work of those who put in their time! I believe collecting money is not the best way to control attendance at the event, tickets can be issued without been paid for, CEC should know better, anyway sha the world is truly coming to an end, if birds are dropping dead out of the skies for no reason.

Nothing justifies the charging of specific fees to visit the house of God. Crowd control? Do u mean the church as an institutional is short of professionals who can profer and design a strategy for crowd control other than taxing those who seek God?
What gave the church the impression and statistics that more than 25000 persons(the acclaimed capacity) can not afford the #1000 fixed as gate fees? I can not faction out how it was measured to arrive at such ambigous means of 'crowd control'. The objective is to raise money and create other avenues to milk ever willing gullible members.ok,waht happens to those who can not afford the amount? Is it now for the rich only?

If you attended the program and you paid, then you have every right to express your opinion even though it would be very dumb for you to complain after paying to enter when you knew there were other centers.

Anyway, you must be informed that no one was forced to attend and pay.

Before I agree that someone is a true "man of God", he must have a source of income and must not (including family, friends and relatives) take a kobo from the coffers of the church, then I will agree that such person is a man of God. In the absence of that, they are a bunch of crooks ripping their willing customers. I wish I could get back ALL the money that I ever gave to the church when I still attended one, I am sure it is well below N10,000, but it will be nice to have it back.  As per going to spend 5 hrs listening to someone interprete a thousand yr old book, I will, if I am paid

Hmmm, I personally do no support the gate takings, but  I believe the church and its members have succesfully brought many people to christ and they will continue to do so.  Therefore they will continue to be in God's reckoning, no matter what we post on NL.

Yeah right. Why not a simple policy of 'first come, first served'? Then when the venue is at its maximum capacity, you politely turn people away. Is that too much for Christ Embassy to handle?

By charging N1000, you ensure that the very poor cannot attend. The really poor people who Jesus Christ came to save, happily left outside while others forked over N1000. Anybody defending this has to be a mugu, and is most definitely not a Christian.

This lack of charity has permeated the Pentecostal Church in Nigeria. no wonder the likes of Bakare, Chris Oyahkilome et al don't give a damn about the kids being tortured for alleged witchcraft in Akwa Ibom by some rogue PFN pastors.
