A 41-year-old woman named Mary Kulele from the Akwanga Local Government Area in the state of Nasarawa was caught in a hospital in Akwanga where she secretly went to hospital pretending to be a good woman by providing selfless services to pregnant women

When the mother took her clothes to somewhere in the hospital complex to wash, she admitted to taking the baby from the hospital ward. She was trapped in the hospital after a nurse raised an alarm about her suspicious appearance.

Although the baby was rescued in good health, the area’s angry youth took laws into their hands and lynched her.

Despite her long narrative of her compassionate life and marital experience, her plea for mercy and redemption fell on deaf ears as the youth smoked their lives from her. She wailed and begged she should save her life. She vowed that she would never do it again but no one came to her aid.

It was for the want of a baby that would console her in her old age, after she was sent away from her matrimonial home on account of infertility, after 10 years of fruitless and frustrating marriage, that she lost her life. So sad!
