I want to believe that there are better ways information about number of cases of the COVID-19 could be disseminated to Nigerians.

The way the numbers are released as if it's a presidential election that collation will be done from polling units and counted after the total accredited voters have voted, and added up at the LGA collation center before it gets to the State Collation center and Finally announced by the INEC chairman.

We keep getting updates of new cases, recovery/discharge, and deaths but we've never been told which LGA, Ward, street are being affected all what we hear is 15 New cases in Lagos - where in Lagos in particular, do we have consistent cases from a particular community or ward - this will further give people the understanding that they are most hit and should do the highest level of civic distancing and also make people yet to believe that the pandemic is real to take caution.

Isolation and treatment centers can also be recorded on camera and shown to the public with faces of victim blurred - this is a society were people are still saying HIV isn't real and Novel Corona virus is just being treated like malaria.

I think government and health ministry need to do more on an open update. I watch other countries release names of those that died, News of recovery shows videos of people being celebrated as they are discharged, ICU are shown to the people and the number of people in the center shown and the capacity of the unit in relation to ongoing treatment - we may not do all, but so far the level we are cannot be considered to be open to all Nigerians.

With these sort of somewhat discrete communication, people Haven't really committed fully to civic distancing
