This is very bad.Stealing should not be encouraged but this corona period is extremely difficult and mercy is what is needed here.The owner of the shop did not apply wisdom. The Jews who were baying for blood could not stone the prostitute,because they were all guilty of one wrong doing or the other. If the Lord is to open the life of those who judged this lady harshly, they may be hung. We all have our faults and shouldn't rush to judgement quickly.

This is not good at all. I'm not justifying stealing, but there are alot of politicians out there who have stolen money more than enough to buy a million milk, but nobody has stripped them naked. But a poor and desperate mother who has been forced to employ desperate means to ensure the survival of her child and family is being made to go through this. At least there are other ways to punish such offences aside stripping her naked. Let's not also forget that this period us really hard for everybody. I think the appropriate authorities need to look into this matter.

I'm not in support of stealing but truth be told, they have no right to strip her naked . . .and until the law is used against some of these "Quick to Strip Geng" . . .then others will not learn. I'm in Agbor and can trace that lady.

According to eye witness, she didn't even steal as claimed just the manager raising a false alarm.

The supermarket has been sealed and manager arrested.

I know police with money they will free the manager soon.

I will be going tomorrow to the supermarket to find out more and for the lady I know someone who came from same village (Alero...the governor's town) with her and can easily locate her...

The truth of the matter is that it's a huge crime to steal and it should be punishable, but then again, nobody knows her story...she may have kids and no funds to sustain her household. I enjoin all who have and can help to always rise to the occasion when things like this happens. She doesn't deserve the disgrace.

She doesn't deserve the DISGRACE at all.
It's completely out of it.
She STOLE FOOD and not to resell it but to feed.
She didn't steal Money.
Although what she did is completely wrong but something worse befell her.
