Ok, I have seen single mom perform poorly in raising kids especially boys because most times whether you accept it or not boys needs father figure to be disciplined. I have seen single dad also do poorly too both the ratio is less compared to the high ratio from single Mom. A single Dad can still properly raise a fairly disciplined home better to me than a single Mom.

I had to go check statistics online and it validates this claim and just this evening I saw a single mom smoking shisha from a pipe and giving it to her kid of 5 years old on Twitter. I was really pissed actually, so what do you think

That will be very few single dad... As some won't even care much about the child looking for the next lady to hook up with.... Dads like that think money is everything...

It depends on what makes them single. If the father died, mothers are ok to raise the kids, only that they will be asking for help as widows, suddenly remember their in-law who's evil for not helping out and even become burdensome on the children who have needs of their own in the name of eating the fruit of their labour. But the children however will grow up with a right state of mind and no bitterness inherent.

But if it's divorce, fathers are the better option even though the court of law defies this fact most times. Mothers who crave for child custody after divorce are not doing that bcus they love the kids, it's because of themselves and as a win over the man. Fathers with child custody though as men would have a way to satisfy his sexual desire and won't need to make it known to the kids but he won't teach the children against their mother. Tonto dike is an example.

I am from a separated parentage too and I grew with my mom, if I compare the things she has said to me from childhood about my dad and what I'm seeing now that I'm grown up, if I decide not to forgive her, I would be right, but to what end.

For a long time in my life I didn't wanna have anything to do with women cus I found out that dad wasn't as bad as mom portrayed him but for her selfish reasons. However I'm thankful to dad for bearing the bitterness and rigidity from her and didn't give up on me. He kept contact with me and all the evidences I needed to see. But the most amazing thing is that even now he tells me to respect my mom and each time I convince mom to call him, he's moved with joy..can you imagine!

Men don't harbor bitterness like women do. That's a dark aspect every woman needs to deal with and that is an important psychic factor to consider in a child's up-bringing. Only a psychologically healthy person shd raise a child.

Single dads ofcourse. Single mums will just be transferring their aggression on the innocent kids. Single mums sabi suffer frustration no be small. Esp the broke ones.

Single mums , from experience, I stayed with my dad for sometime n stayed with my mother finally , my father married another woman n it was a living hell , my mum is also now married but her husband treats me well , financially n otherwise .
